Vinification: Aged for 14 months in oak, 66% new and 34% 2nd fill.

Tasting Note: High toned aromas of spicy red berries, dried flowers, mint, marzipan and smokey, nutty, slightly resiny oak with flavours of black raspberry, iron, leather, smoke and earth, perked up with a note of tart cranberry. This boasts terrific freshness and snappy depth of flavour. Finishes firmly tannic and impressively long.
