Challenging the Kiwis for the title of best value Sauvignon Blanc was not something that Spain would have considered 10 years ago, let alone 20. However, with the emergence of the Rueda region for white wines, Spanish Sauvignon and more particularly this one, are now mounting a real challenge. Great varietal character - crisp, herbaceous, touches of blackcurrant leaf, guava and grapefruit all backed up by racy acidity lead to a tongue tinglingly taught finish.

Tasting Note: Bright straw. Delightful nose of intense mature fruit with tropicalfruit
notes. In the mouth: fresh, intensely varietal fruit with citrus touches. Very good
acidity.

Best enjoyed: Excellent as an aperitif and to accompany light starters, salads,fish,
seafood…
Technical information:
Wine-making: destemmed; pre-crush cold maceration over several hours. Gentle press followed by slow, controlled, cold-fermentation in stainless steel, max.17º.
