Both Moscatel de Alejandria and Moscatel de Grano Menudo, better known as Muscat de Frontignan, are used to produce this rich flavoured dessert wine. The grapes are allowed to ripen and shrivel almost to raisins before pressing. Grape brandy is added to the must to arrest the fermentation. The final result is a very sweet, luscious wine that is a perfect accompaniment to all types of dessert.

Moscatel has an unmistakable aromatic perspective that is highly characteristic of its variety, with seductive floral perfumes (rose, geranium, lemon verbena). On the mouth it is voluptuous, concentrated yet light, full and with a delicate sensuality.
